Camera Dom is Chairman of Dom Camera & Company, a media, marketing and sales company specializing in the placement of all forms of media and all aspects of sports marketing and media management. Founded in 1985, the organization collaborates with clients to present their advertising messages in print, radio, TV and new media. Clients include Footlocker, Fox News, Spike TV, Bravo, The Yes Network, Champs Sports, Mazda, 1-800-Flowers and TIAA-Cref. Dom Camera & Company’s goal is to develop and fully execute integrated communications programs and media plans for corporate, consumer goods and retail clients. An alumnus of Adelphi University, Dom earned his MBA in Marketing, in 1968. Previously, he completed his undergraduate degree as a 4 year student athlete at St. John’s University. Over the last 40 years, Dom has had extensive experience in the marketing and communications industry. He served in various capacities at Reuben H. Donnelley Company from 1966 to 1972. He then broke into the Radio and TV field in ‘72, when he began at Petry, a broadcast rep firm. From there, he went on to serve as Sales Manager for WCBS Radio, then to WNBC Radio and two years later, to NBC TV in New York. He later rose to the position of Station Manager of the NBC owned and operated station, WKYC in Cleveland, Ohio from 1979 to 1982. In 1982, Dom returned to New York as VP of Marketing for the USFL (United States Football League). He held that position until 1985, when the League disbanded. Shortly afterwards, he took the step to become an entrepreneur by inaugurating, “Dom Camera Media.” The company has successfully racked up consistent annual billings in excess of $100,000,000 across all media types over the past 10 years. Prevention’s Man of the Year and several times by his alma
mater, St. John’s University, Dom is an avid golfer and
family man. He and his wife Catherine live in Old Brookville
and have 2 married sons. The “lights of his life” are
his 3 grandchildren, all under the ages of 4 years old. |
